The Tomorrow’s Museum project team has received the thumbs up at its mid-point review with the Heritage Lottery Fund. The team updated HLF with the latest concept designs and costings, and on plans for an exciting programme of public engagement activity, developed in consultation with the community. The team also reported on developments in the interpretation of the new galleries following the recent appointment of Exhibition Development Manager Elizabeth Selby.
HLF were pleased with how the project is progressing and gave the team the thumbs up to continue working towards the Stage 2 deadline. The team is now working hard to bring proposals to the level of detail needed for the May submission, with matched funding and planning permission required to be in place by the deadline.
